Anything you talk about will not be passed on or shared with anyone without your permission…..

Unless: you or someone else is at risk of serious harm and in need of protection – we will always try to discuss this with you first.

If you are worried about confidentiality, please ask a member of staff.

At MESMAC/SHINE we all work for Newcastle City Council. As part of our work for the council we use an online recording system called 'Care First', which is used by City Council Support Workers and Social services across the city.

Information held on this system is only for people to access who have active involvement with your care.

This system is monitored by a team and is also password protected.

Making A Complaint

There are a number of ways you can make a complaint if you are not happy with the service you have received at MESMAC.
You can complain in person, by phone, by letter or form, by email or online.

If you would prefer to complain directly to MESMAC you can complain in the following ways:

You can also request information in other languages, in braille, on an audio tape and in larger print. You can do this by printing out the image on the right, completing it and sending it to the Customer Relations Team address above.
