GENDER IDENTITY SUPPORT SERVICE
Offering a comprehensive support service in the North East for people aged between 15 and 25.
The team has many years experience working with individuals and their families, and can offer a range of support options, from one to one sessions and peer group support meetings to social outings and workshops. They will always aim to provide support and information tailored to your needs.
Whether you are worried about coming out to your family, are worried about your legal, employment or education rights or medical treatment or you are just unsure about how you feel about your gender: the team are here to help.
There is no right or wrong way to be yourself. Please get in touch if you would like advice and support or just want to meet other young people with similar experiences.

Be: Trans Support & Development North is Trans Community Support, Development and Campaigning Organisation operating across the North of England. Offering a confidential 121 bespoke holistic support, advice and advocacy services to all gender diverse individuals and their families.They facilitate a variety of peer groups and social events, promote trans community cohesion, bring like minded people together in a safe and positive environment where they can benefit from interacting with each other. Provide Trans guidance, advice and awareness training to public, private and 3rd sector organisations.
