NORTHERN PROUD VOICESNorthern Proud Voices Logo 2016
NORTHERN PROUD VOICES are the North East’s largest and longest running LGBT & friends’ choir.
NPV is an inclusive and diverse choir with a genuine community spirit.
They welcome new members of all singing abilities at any rehearsal, to join singing a range of material, guided by their long standing professional Musical Director and accompanist.
Membership of NPV also gives the opportunity to attend a variety of social events organised in addition to the singing!

PRIDE & JOYPride & Joy
Pride and Joy LGBT singing group meets every Tuesday 6-8pm at the Miner’s Institute, just down from Central Station on Westgate Rd.
They are a friendly supportive group who welcomes anyone who is interested in having a go at singing.

LGBT CARERS SUPPORT GROUPLGBTSupportGroup
The LGBT Carer Support Group is held on the last Monday of the month (unless it is a bank holiday which is the case for May) between 6-8pm, offering members a chance to receive carer support and take part in some fun and social activities. The group has requested fun and social activities to take part in such as Bowling and a Film night.  It is a client led group, so they decide what they would like to do each month. A Support worker (Paul Forster) is part of the group activities and so is on hand to offer the group an opportunity to speak to him about benefit entitlement, carer rights, training needs or any other issues, this can be either in the group setting or 1-2-1 support.
