Teesside Office

MESMAC NORTH EAST has an office in Teesside in central Middlesbrough to be exact. The team consists of two full-time community workers one part-time group and outreach worker, two volunteer counselors and an admin worker.
We provide services for people who live in what used to be the old Cleveland County area – that is now Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton, Hartlepool and Middlesbrough.

RAPID TEST (1 HOUR HIV TEST)

This is a new service that runs from MESMAC’S Teesside office on Tuesdays, drop-in between 12 noon and 6pm, appointments can be made for other days and times though if required.  The test is a simple finger prick test with pre and post test counselling, and results within the hour.  To make an appointment call MESMAC Teesside on: 01642 804400.

This service is run by MESMAC North East, Teesside Positive Action and The Department of Infection & Travel Medicine, James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.

COUNSELLING SERVICE

Almost everyone needs someone to talk stuff through with at some time in their lives. There are two trained counselors available for weekly sessions at our Middlesbrough office.
